Find matching companies

Use the published Magic Insights filters with the regular company search endpoint to find companies matching a topic. These filters require Magic Insights access.

Get answers and references

Request published answer fields for up to 100 companies per call. Each returned answer includes structured content and references when available.

Use GET /api/v1/magic-insights/modules/{module_key}/filters and GET /api/v1/magic-insights/modules/{module_key}/answers to inspect a module's available fields.

Structured answers with evidence

A successful response includes one result for each found company. The answers object contains the fields you requested. A missing answer is null, while a usable answer includes an answer object and references with source URLs and quotes where available.

Available answer fields are fixed by the published catalogue. The API does not accept a new freeform question or custom answer schema in a retrieval request.

Pricing and access

3 credits per usable answer

The cost is per company and answer field, deducted from your normal credit allowance. Missing answers and company numbers that are not found are free. Identical recent retries are not charged twice.

Magic Insights access

Answer retrieval and Magic Insights search filters are available during the 14-day Sandbox trial and on Team or Enterprise. Developer includes free catalogue discovery without answer retrieval.
